2024 Rosé of Cinsault
2024 Rosé of Cinsault | Loch Vineyard | Certified Sustainable
The nose on this rosé opens with a playful hint of candied taffy, though don’t be fooled—this rosé is crisp and dry. Aromas of red berries mingle with delicate notes of jasmine, while a light touch of melon adds depth. The palate is bright, juicy, and refreshing, resulting in an elegant, easy-drinking rosé.
This wine is made for warm-weather dining. Perfect with grilled seafood, charcuterie, veggie skewers or stone-fruit, burrata salad.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Pale salmon-pink in color, this rosé is truly reminiscent of Provence-style rosé. Ripe notes of strawberry, watermelon, and cotton candy spring out of the glass and are followed by more complex notes of guava and rose water. The texture of this dry wine is mouth watering and smooth.
Vineyard Notes
Marcella is defined by very steep southwest exposure and is a very warm-to-hot site, which is perfect for ripening our white rhone varieties. Wines from Marcella tend to be a little softer and more fruit forward than many other vineyard sites in the valley. Originally planted to Merlot in 1997, plantings were expanded in 2003 to include: Cinsault, Viognier, Roussanne, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvedre. The Rawn family began farming this 10-acre parcel in 2011. Elevation 1075.
Olsen Vineyards are located in the East end of the Yakima Valley from north of Prosser to north of Benton City. The vineyards are planted on several different sites with a wide variety of slopes, aspects, and elevations. The first vines were planted in 1980 and the youngest will be planted in 2005. Varieties grown include Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsaut, Petit Verdot, Grenache, and Malbec.
