Introducing Béton (French for concrete) 🪨 🍇

That can only mean one thing…white wine fermented and aged in concrete only!

In the 2023 harvest, we co-fermented Grenache Blanc from Loch vineyard (a @twomountainwinery site) with Roussanne from Mary Evelyn vineyard (also @twomountainwinery site). Both are grown certified #sustainablewa

Once fermentation was complete, we topped the Diamante concrete tanks with some finished wine from #bousheyvineyard (more Grenache Blanc and about 3% Marsanne). The blend then continued to age in the @bouchardcooperages Diamante concrete tank for 4 more months

The result is a stunning, crystal clear white wine. Crisp, bright, mineral, aromatic (cities, floral, tropical) Rhône white blend: 52% Grenache Blanc, 45% Roussanne, 3% Marsanne

Aromatic and Tasting Notes:

• Citrus: Lemon zest, lemon meringue, candied lemon slices
• Tree and stone fruit: Apricot, just ripe Bosc pear, nectarine
• Floral: Peach blossom, honeysuckle, slight jasmine
• Acid: Medium, bright - all across the mid-palate
• Finish: Balance of crisp, steely, textured and smooth
